I really didn't mean to embarass Dave but I honestly thought I had been told that the Beatles had played Hamburg's Markthalle where we performed last night. He was quite curious and ready to undergo a personal pilgramage to the various nooks and crannies until one of the club's employees laughingly told him that it was nothing more than false information. Ooops. Well, I'm ready to start more rumors. Let's see, I believe that Elvis once played at tonight's venue in Koln, Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice" was first performed at tomorrow's venue in Frankfurt, Mozart was, in fact, the fourth bass player in the Dream Syndicate and William the Conquerer was actually the left fielder for the Yankees in the early fifties.
