Steve Wynn, July 17th 1996 : The new band is outstanding. Rich Gilbert, the new guitarist has amalgamated the fine playing of Chris Brokaw and Thalia Zedek from the new album, the anarchic squonk of Karl Precoda and blended into his own martian universe. incredible. Linda Pitmon is a ferocious drummer, an inspiration a beacon of power and style and Armistead? well, he's still my buddy and the solid rock of all things I do musically these days. and of course he's the most charming man alive.
